How to make Sweet Rice Cutlets
- Step 1To prepare this snack recipe, firstly, soak the rice in water for 6 hours. Once soaked, transfer them in a muslin cloth and drain the excess water. Now, transfer these in a blender jar and blend the rice to make fine powder. Make sure that no rice grains remain and entire mixture turns into powder.
- Step 2Transfer the blended rice in large bowl and add sugar, khoya along with green cardamom to it. Mix it well and knead it in the form of a dough. Take small portions from the dough and shape them in round balls. Flatten these between the palm of your hands and make them into cutlets.
- Step 3Now, place a deep-bottomed pan over medium flame and heat oil in it. When the oil is hot enough, add the raw cutlets to it. Fry until it is golden brown in color. Once done, transfer these onto a plate lined with absorbent paper to soak up the excess oil. Serve these hot to enjoy!
